Who operates Toadstool

Toadstool is independently operated from Nevada, United States. This draft uses the operator’s existing DBA, Drunken Dragon Designs, as the public-facing business name.

The service

Toadstool lets you send text, links, images, and files between the web application and your paired devices. A Google account is required to sign in on the web. The Android app and browser extension are currently distributed as direct downloads.

Your account and devices

Keep your account and devices secure. Only pair devices you control, do not share device credentials, and revoke devices you no longer use. You are responsible for the content you choose to send through your account.

Your content

You retain ownership of your content. By sending it to Toadstool, you permit the service to store, process, and transmit it as needed to provide the sharing and storage features you use. Only upload material you have the right to use. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, malware distribution, unauthorized access, or interference with other users or the service.

Files and availability

Free accounts currently allow files up to 5 MB each, retained for seven days. Operator-assigned paid status currently allows up to 100 MB per file and 1 GB total file storage, with no scheduled file expiry while that status is active. There is currently no online checkout or subscription billing. File limits use binary units.

Toadstool is a transfer tool, not your only backup. Keep copies of important files. Expired or deleted files may not be recoverable. Features and availability can change, and uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.

Read the Privacy notice for information about sign-in, shared content, device records, and notifications. Google sign-in and third-party sites you open are also subject to their own terms and policies.
